The English Toolbox Method
Diagnose. Design. Rehearse. Track.
This is the teaching cycle inside the programme. The five steps above explain how you begin; these four stages explain how the learning stays relevant.
Begin with the real need.
Identify the role, current level and workplace moments where clearer English would help.
Build the right focus.
Select practical tasks and level-appropriate materials around those communication priorities.
Practise before it matters.
Use realistic conversations, explanations, presentations or writing with live feedback.
See what comes next.
Use practice, answer keys and progress notes to choose the next useful step.
Inside a programme
Balanced language practice with a strong focus on clear speech.
Speaking, listening, reading and writing work together around realistic professional tasks. Activities may include role-play, presentations, summaries, instructions and workplace interactions.
Nicholas prepares and adapts level-appropriate specialist materials for the agreed scope, using short audio models and properly licensed sources where useful. If an external textbook would help, its separate cost is disclosed before purchase.
Live lessons take place on Zoom. A supported desktop browser can be used; on a mobile device, the Zoom app is normally required.
- One lesson equals one scheduled 60-minute live contact hour
- Private one-to-one lessons or one team of two to six from the same organisation
- Lower-intermediate starting level or above
- British pronunciation support where useful
- Self-checking consolidation practice after every lesson
- Brief course-related questions through the members area, answered asynchronously during normal working hours
Optional focused writing feedback
Focused feedback for each learner.
Short, relevant writing
Submit one piece of up to 250 words after each completed block of three live contact hours.
Allowance for every learner
Each learner may submit 3 pieces with 10 hours, 6 with 20 hours or 10 with 30 hours, at USD 15 for each piece submitted.
One focused review
Each submission receives concise corrections and one priority comment in a single feedback pass.
A clear service boundary
The return date is confirmed when the work is accepted. Extensive rewriting and urgent document work are quoted separately.
Evidence of progress
Understand what is improving and what to work on next.
Progress reviews
Progress notes explain what is improving, what still needs practice and the next useful step.
Company reporting
Attendance and progress may be shared with an authorised sponsor only with the learner’s permission.
Participation certificate
A participation certificate follows completion of the programme.
Plans can change.
Give at least 24 hours’ notice to reschedule without using the lesson. With less notice, the lesson normally counts as used. Read the complete Cancellation and Refund Policy.
